Hello!

I grew up outside of Minneapolis in the nw suburbs of Osseo and Maple Grove. I have always been creative and spent much of my formative years doing art and music. After High School, I formed "The Urge" with good friends Mike McKinney and Wayne Grimsrud. We did a lot of performing locally and had a good run (and we still perform today as 3stb). In 1991 I attended Music Tech college, met Hans Buff, and got a job there as a lab assistant. At that time, Mike and I were also playing in a local band called "Post Mortem Grinner". Those were good times. Towards the end of our tenure in Post Mortem Grinner the band got the chance to open for GWAR (unfortunately the gig when I found this out was our last gig.. ahhh the music biz). After leaving Music Tech and the music scene I went to work for Pro Litho Arts in Minneapolis. I was to help with scoring, and recording some musical tracks for a CD-ROM project for Colagte Palmolive. During that time while I ws doing music, I was learning the press trade. When we were done with the project, I started in image prep at PLA. After being a PLA (Now StudioEightMN) for 30 years, I am wearing a lot more hats. These include IT, Software and Hardware purchases, PrePress, High End Retouching, Color Management, and general prep work. That bring us up to the "now".
